Mollie is a 1969 Anglo Pullman caravan that was found at a local campground where it had , been used as a permanent dwelling. This caravan was purchased by the owner who then commissioned us to customise it to match the theme and designs of the Port Ohope General Store which they also own in Ohope, Bay of Plenty. Mollie took just over 6months to build and was the runner up at the Whangamata Beach Hop.
Everything inside is completely custom made, for example the table is made from two scaffold planks, the cabinet was custom made to fit and many more things but we will let you take a look at the photos. Mollie is fitted out with a Bluetooth entertainment system, LED lights… the list just keeps on going.
Throughout you will find many hidden extra’s that you wouldn’t find on a normal caravan. The roof proudly holds a custom made surf board that was made 35years ago, the front supports a bike named ‘Shelly’ and the mirror is edged with a bouy from ‘Pearly Shells’, a well known local fishing launch. Every aspect of this caravan tells a unique story.
